Well the month is coming to an end and so must your NaNoWriMo projects... I hope all who are participating are almost done.  For those who do not know what NaNoWriMo is, it stands for National Novel Writing Month.  Generally you write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days.  Sounds hard, challenging and a long month but kudos to all who are participating and/or done.

Congrats...you rock!

I ended up with 26,420 words only because school, projects, and general things just kept me from it this year.

Crooked fav.me/d5cxcd8
by: eloquensartifex
Reason: Very Noir like feel, I could actually become the character.  It did not feel out of place when reading it...it made sense and could very well be the backstory of the whole nursery rhyme.
Rhyme Used: There was a crooked man

Trip up Watery Lane
by: Metarex12
Reason: Gave a unique purpose to the spider.  After I read it, I kept thinking about it and how sweet and simple the story was.  It tied back to the nursery rhyme very well.
Rhyme Used: Itsy Bitsy Spider

One of the Kings Men fav.me/d5af7j1
by: IrresistibleMorsels
Reason: I read both Humpty Dumpty stories and this one...stood out in my memory more.  Maybe it is because that kings man...has attitude and I would hate to be on his bad side.  I liked how he was the reason humpty could not be put together again... kind of sad but I totally understand
Rhyme Used: Humpty Dumpty

Fiddler's Love fav.me/d5c9k7l
by: furamara1
Reason: This story really felt like the rhyme. I liked how the cat was a cat that loves playing the fiddle and this rhyme came out about it.
Rhyme Used: Hey Diddle Diddle

The Cow Who Leapt the Moon fav.me/d5bhxk5
by: :devIsleintheSky:
Reason: This was just funny, I love that cow.  Always wanting to jump things and make bolder and bolder statements...just funny!
Rhyme Used: Hey Diddle Diddle

:bulletred: Hey Diddle Diddle by: meg-h-z is comical, the witch changing the people to the different characters and how each fitted their personality unique.  I like the cat's comment at the end 'forever immortalized as a cat...' great.  If you want more detail on how it was judged please note the group!

:bulletred: Fallen Prince by: hikarumangaluv is a great story that talks about humpty being a clumsy prince.  It was written well and started off different by the end I was thinking something else.  If you want more detail on how it was judged please note the group!
