Alright that long awaited time has come. First off I would like to give a big thanks to the participants of the Thinking Backwards contest for being patient. Waiting for the votes to come in...has been exhausting....
But they are calculated.
Crooked [link]
by: *eloquensartifex
Reason: Very Noir like feel, I could actually become the character. It did not feel out of place when reading it...it made sense and could very well be the backstory of the whole nursery rhyme.
Rhyme Used: There was a crooked man

Trip up Watery Lane
by: =Metarex12
Reason: Gave a unique purpose to the spider. After I read it, I kept thinking about it and how sweet and simple the story was. It tied back to the nursery rhyme very well.

One of the Kings Men [link]
by: ~IrresistibleMorsels
Reason: I read both Humpty Dumpty stories and this one...stood out in my memory more. Maybe it is because that kings man...has attitude and I would hate to be on his bad side. I liked how he was the reason humpty could not be put together again... kind of sad but I totally understand
